Lighthouse R&D Enterprises, Inc. takes security seriously. Data security includes two components: prevention of physical access and encryption. Furthermore, there may be the need for separate protection from outsiders and insiders. The key physical access barrier will be to arrange that only data that belongs to a customer appears on that customer's platform. This is achieved by dedicating each wavelength (lambda) to a single customer. Only that wavelength ever appears on the platform equipment. This can be modified when two or more customers agree to share a bandwidth segment. Standard public key encryption is available and will be provided as needed or requested. This provides a high degree of data security.
