Vessel Master/Captain - July 2010

International Research and Development company is seeking qualified individuals to crew a DP/MSV vessel.

Research Assistant
- June 2010
International research and development company, focused on environmental monitoring for practical purposes, is looking for a research assistant.  Fulltime, salaried position with excellent benefits - salary commensurate with experience.  Qualifications include a minimum BS, or a BA with a minor in science.

Qualifications and tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Good working knowledge of common research techniques
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Basic understanding of physical science
- Ability to work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Assist in researching worldwide markets and providing the company with necessary background research on cultural issues, funding opportunities, and other critical knowledge of operating within different countries
-  Researching and registering for appropriate trade conferences
- Maintaining a contacts database, compiling articles and press releases, liaising between professional organizations and company

Mechanical Drafter - June 2010
An international research and development company based in Houston, Texas, is currently seeking a mechanical drafter.  Qualified applicants should have an acute attention to detail, the ability to follow specific directions, work independently, multitask, and take on other responsibilities.  Full time positions with excellent benefits.  Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications and tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Extensive knowledge of 3-D drafting software
- Basic understanding of mechanical principals, tolerances, clearances
- 2-5+ years experience using Soldworks and AutoCAD
- Ability to make accurate measurements and hand drawn sketches
- Work with engineering to develop detailed design
- Maintain electronic files and bill of materials in an organized manner
- Inspect machined parts, and report any deviations from the prints
- Provide the sales, operations, and marketing groups with technical assistance
