Research Assistant - June 2010 International research and development company, focused on environmental monitoring for practical purposes, is looking for a research assistant. Fulltime, salaried position with excellent benefits - salary commensurate with experience. Qualifications include a minimum BS, or a BA with a minor in science.
Qualifications and tasks include, but are not limited to:

Mechanical Drafter - June 2010 An international research and development company based in Houston, Texas, is currently seeking a mechanical drafter. Qualified applicants should have an acute attention to detail, the ability to follow specific directions, work independently, multitask, and take on other responsibilities. Qualifications and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Extensive knowledge of 3-D drafting software - Basic understanding of mechanical principals, tolerances, clearances - 2-5+ years experience using Soldworks and AutoCAD - Ability to make accurate measurements and hand drawn sketches - Work with engineering to develop detailed design - Maintain electronic files and bill of materials in an organized manner - Inspect machined parts, and report any deviations from the prints - Provide the sales, operations, and marketing groups with technical assistance
